아버지 프로그램의 근거기반실천을 위한 제언: 국내ㆍ외 사례 고찰을 바탕으로 = Evidence-Based Practices of Fatherhood Programs

As interests in fathers’ role in parenting grew, various agencies in Korea have been implementing programs to promote fathering. programs to promote fathering. However, there is a very limited knowledge base to adequately support the translational work (i.e., development, evaluation, dissemination, and implementation of programs). To fill this gap, the present study first reviewed fatherhood programs that are being currently implemented in Korea or published studies focused on development and evaluation of fatherhood programs in Korea, and provided discussions on limitations and potential implications of these programs. We also introduced several examples of evidence-based fatherhood programs in other countries that were evaluated through randomized controlled trials. We then gave an overview of systems of evidence-based practice of fatherhood programs in other countries and reviewed translational research on dissemination and implementation strategies to facilitate evidence-based practices of fatherhood programs. Lastly, we have suggested five strategies to promote evidence-based practices for fatherhood programs in Korea.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

최근 아버지의 양육자 역할에 대한 높은 관심과 함께 공공기관을 비롯한 다양한 기관에서 아버지들이 참여하는 프로그램을 진행하고 있다. 하지만 국내 아버지 프로그램의 개발, 효과검 증, 보급, 실행 등 중개영역에 대한 체계적 접근은 상당히 빈약한 실정이다. 본 연구는 아버지 프로그램의 근거기반실천(evidence-based practice)을 위한 제언을 목적으로 국내와 국외의 아버지 프로그램 사례를 고찰하고, 국외 아버지 프로그램의 근거기반실천을 위한 전반적인 체 계와 이와 관련하여 최근 논의되고 있는 보급 및 실행 전략에 대한 중개연구(translational research)를 소개하였다. 마지막으로 국내 아버지 프로그램의 근거기반실천을 위한 실천적 제 언 및 시사점으로 1) 아버지에 대한 고정관념 탈피, 2) 근거기반 프로그램의 개발과 효과검증, 3) 연구-실천 격차를 줄이기 위한 근거기반 프로그램의 보급ㆍ실행체계 마련, 4) 아버지 프로 그램의 내용에 관한 논의: 한국사회 맥락에 대한 이해와 적용, 그리고 5) 효과적인 개입 대상, 방식, 그리고 시기에 관한 논의를 구체적으로 제안하였다.
