We have studied on the fabrications Cu\Al_2O_3\Cu IGBT substrates produced by brazing method with Cu-Ag alloyed filler metal containing 1 to 4wt%Ti. For a braze cycle of 1 hour at 900℃ loading at 300g and cooling rate was 10℃/min down to the room temperature in the furnace. The Cu/Al_2O_3 joints for use Cu-Ag-3wt%Ti filler metal has shown the superior mechanical, thermal and electrical properties which is arisen from the difference of the microstructure, layered thickness and composite distribution in the metallized layer.
