Recently, high-strength concrete is a construction material that has been widely used in construction industry.
Benefits of high strength concrete are high early strength, high durability against carbonation and penentration of chemicals, high resistance against abrasion, and various application of concrete. Accordingly, development of high strength concrete is very important in the side of development of building materials for the high-rise building. And so many countries keep on researching and developing for the high strength concrete.
This study is to investigate and analyze the influence of development factors on compressive strength of ultra high strength concrete, and to propose manufacturing system of ultra high strength concrete. The experimental factors selected in this study are types of cement, absorption condition and coating method of coarse aggregate, maximum size of coarse aggregate, types of aggregate, mixing methods, water-binder ratio and curing methods, binder content, and the replacement proportion of silica fume.
