林湖 朴守儉의 시세계 연구

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본고는 17세기 충북 제천 지역 재지 사족 계열 관료 문인 林湖朴守儉의 학문 배경과 다양한 양상의 작시 경향을 살펴봄으로써 그의 문학에 대한 연구의 장을 더 욱 확장하기 위한 목적으로 작성되었다. 박수검은 한미한 집안을 일으키기 위하여 과거 급제를 위한 공부를 하였고, 조석 윤, 송시열 등의 당대 명가를 사사하였다. 소년기에 지역의 명망이 있던 이영선과 왕실의 서손으로 여러 사족 자제에게 시문을 교육한 이준남에게 시문을 학습하였 고, 그 성과로 22세에 택당 이식의 칭찬을 받았다. 그러나 그의 생애는 대체로 경세 의 포부를 펼치지 못한 낙척과 좌절의 일생이었고, 그로인해 후대에는 그의 문학적 진면모가 알려져 있지 않았다. 본고에서는 그의 문집의 가장 많은 비중을 차지하는 시문을 통해 시에 투영된 삶의 모습과 敍事詩에 보이는 역사와 현실에 대한 인식을 살펴보고자 한다. 詠史 詩, 社會詩등 敍事詩를 통해 드러난 역사 관찰자, 기록자로서 냉철한 현실 인식 으로 당대 조선 조정의 문제를 직절하게 풍간하는 등 그의 시문 등 그의 문학이 다양한 지형을 이루고 있음을 확인하였다. 특히 그의 사회시는 숙종 중기 대기근의 참상을 다루고 있어 관련 연구에 참고가 될 만하다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This book is written for a purpose to extend further field of Park Soo-gum’ study of literature by examining his academic background and various aspects of writing, who was Im Ho Park Soo-gum (1629-1698), a civil servant of the local aristocracy in Jecheon, North Chungcheong Province, in the 17th century. Park Soo-geom(박수검) started studying for the civil service examination in order to raise his family, and was taught by many scholars of the time such as Jo Seok-yoon(조석윤) and Song Si-yeol(송시열). He learned poetry from Yi Yeong-seon(이영선), a renowned local teacher during his boyhood, and Yi Jun-nam(이준남), who taught poetry to many noble children in Seoul and Gyeonggi Province as a royal concubine. The achievement earned him the praise of Taekdang(택당) Yi Sik at the age of 22. However, his life was largely a continuation of poverty and frustration, which left the value of his literature unknown in later generations. In this book, we are going to examine the life reflected in the poem and the perception of history and reality in the epic poem (敍事詩) through poetry, which accounts for the largest portion of his collection of writings. It was confirmed that through epic poetry (敍事詩), such as historical poem (詠史詩) and social poem (社會詩), his literature was composed of various aspects by exhorting problems of politics and national policy by innuendo through his philosophical recognition of the reality of the Joseon Dynasty as historical observers and archives. In particular, his social poem deals with the horrors of the mid-Joseon Eul-byeong great famine(乙丙大飢饉), which makes a reference worth to related research.
