내부역량 및 외부자원 활용이 벤처기업의 국제화에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 : 자원준거이론(RBV)의 확장

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 벤처기업의 내부역량과 외부자원 활용이 국제화 수준에 미치는 영향을 분석하는 연구이다. 특히 내부역량과 외부자원의 상호작용이 국제화 수준에 미치는 영향을 탐색함으로써 자원준거이론의 확장을 시도하였다. 중소벤처기업부의 ‘벤처기업정밀실태조사’를 활용하여 위계적 다중회귀분석을 적용하여 가설검증을 시도하였다. 분석결과에 따르면 내부역량으로 인적역량, 기술역량 및 최고경영자 역량이 벤처기업의 국제화 수준에 유의한 정의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 외부자원 측면에서 벤처캐피탈 자금과 외부협력네트워크 활용이 벤처기업의 국제화 수준에 긍정적 영향을 미친다는 결과를 보였다. 그러나 내부역량과 외부자원 활용의 상호작용이 국제화 수준에 미치는 영향은 혼재된 결과로 나타났다. 이에 벤처기업의 성장단계별로 구분하여 상호작용효과가 주는 영향을 보고자 추가분석을 실시하였다. 그럼에도 불구하고 성장단계별 상호작용 효과의 분석결과로 볼 때 종단적 연구를 후속연구로 제안한다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study examines the effects of internal capabilities and external resources held by venture firms on the level of internationalization. Moreover, the study elaborates the interaction effects of internal capability and external resource on the level of internationalization, trying to expand the extant resource-based view. For this purpose, we made use of hierarchical multiple regression analysis to identify various hypotheses, based on the ‘Venture Business Precise Actual Survey’. As a result, human resource, technological resource and CEO background had significant effects on the level of internationalization. In terms of external resources, the use of venture capital funds and external cooperative network had a positive effects on the level of internationalization of venture firms. However, the interaction effect of internal capabilities and external resources utilization on the internationalization gave rise to mixed results. For this reason, we tried to carry on additional analysis in relation to the stages of venture firm’s growth. Nevertheless, rigorous study as follow-up research is necessary to elaborate the relationship among interaction effect, growth stage and internationalization.
