We have observed 6l cases of congenital malformation babies among 7571 newb orns delivered after 20 weeks gestation in EuI-ji General Hospital from Jan. l976 to Dec. 1981. The result was summarized as below. The data to be presented are based on the 6l cases of congenital anomalities am ong 7571l newborn delivered after 20 weeks gestation, (0.81%). The sex ratio between male and female was male 27 cases (44.3%), female 34 cases (55.7%). The mortslity rate in congenital malformation were 57% (35 cases) Among them still-births were 19 cases (3l%). The incidence of ful term deliyeries were 59%{36 cases), and others were delivered in premature & immature. The majority causes of congenital anomalies were CNS defects, 26 cases(43%). In this report, congenital anomalies were diagnosed on inspection, autopsies & X-Ray, Ultra-sonogram, & auscultation.
