서비스산업과 지역성장간의 관계 = An Empirical Study on the Relationship between the Service Industry and Regional Growth in Yanbian Region of China

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 중국 조선족자치주인 연변지역에 있어서 서비스산업과 지역성장간의 관계 및 영향력을 파악하기 위한 것이다. 이를 위하여 중국 경제개혁·개방년도인 1978년부터 2013년까지 자료를 이용하였으며, 각 모형에서 두 변수간의 관계를 분석하기 위하여 단위근 검정, 공적분 검정, 그랜저인과관계, 벡터자귀회기모형(VAR) 그리고 분산분해를 실시하였다.
연구결과를 요약하면 첫째, 모형에 포함된 3개 변수가 모두 단위근이 존재하는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 그랜저인과관계 검정에서 소득-인구모형(IN-PO Model)과 소득-고용모형(IN-EM Model)에서는 서비스산업 생산변수가 도시화 수준 및 서비스산업 고용에 영향을 미치는 단방향 인관관계를 갖는 것으로 나타난 반면 인구-고용모형(PO-EM Model)에서는 서비스산업과 도시화 수준간에는 서로 영향을 주고받는 양방향 인과관계를 갖는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 분산분해를 실시한 결과 IN-PO Model과 IN-EM Model에서 서비스산업 생산비중변수(tgrdp) 자신이 가장 중요한 변수로 나타났다.
이러한 여건을 고려하면 연변지역은 생산자서비스산업보다는 소비자 서비스산업이 중심이 된 경제패턴을 보이고 있음에도 불구하고 도시화 수준이 비교적 높은 수준임을 고려할 때 연변지역이 보다 바람직한 방향으로 지역이 성장하기 위해서는 생산자서비스산업의 성장을 위한 정책들이 필요한 것으로 판단된다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This paper empirically examines the relationship and impact between service industry and regional growth in Yanbian region of China by using statistic data from 1978 to 2013 through unit root test, cointegration test, Granger causality test, VAR model and variance decomposition analysis.
The results of this paper are as follows: First, in the unit root test, this paper found that each time series was unstable one that has unit root. Second, in the Granger causality test, this paper shows that there are bilateral causality relation between service job and urbanization of PO-EN model, while has unilateral causality in IN-PO Model and IN-EM Model. Finally, in the variance decomposition test, it was proved that service grdp variable in IN-PO model and IN-PO model is the most affected variable of the each data.
Yanbian region has seen the economic pattern of the consumer service industry rather than the producer service industry and a high level of urbanization. Therefore, for the healthy growth of Yanbian regional economy is required to put forward the producer service industry policy.
