육아를 지원하는 공동체주택 사례분석 = A Case Study on the Community Housing for Supporting Child Care

It is necessary to create an appropriate child care environment for raising children as an important social issue in the low fertility society. The purpose of this study is to examine the characteristics of recently planned community housing from the perspective of supporting child care. The community housing to evaluate is a case where existing community gathered and participated from the early planning stage. There are 14 house holds including child care families live. There are total 21 community spaces. Community spaces on the basement floor and first floor are for whole residents. Individual residential spaces and group community spaces are on the second and third floor. As a result, the community housing was considered that the whole or the part of space could support child care in developmentally appropriate environment and care appropriate environment. It means the community housing supports child care of residents properly. Also, it signifies that the community housing has taken this point into consideration from the early stages of planning for supporting easy parenting of child care families.
