대학생 자치활동의 새로운 방향 = New directions on university student initiated activities

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study is aimed to seek new directions on the student-initiated activities of Soonchunhyang University. After surveying students and professors of the University and interviewing with specialists in other universities including Korea, Yonsei and Hanyang, this study analyzed the current aspect and problems of SCH university student-initiated activities.
Research findings are as follows: First, students should acknowledge for themselves the importance and necessity of the university student-initiated activities. Second, the university authority should support policy-oriented and financial aids to develop creative programs on university student-initiated activities.
Among other things, developing creative programs on university student-initiated activities will be propelled by student themselves through reflecting their preference. But the drawback of SCH university student-initiated activities is the fact that the line connecting with past is immature. Therefore, taking specialist's advice in developing their own program is preferable method to fit the characteristics of SCH university students and to enhance the educational outcomes through student-initiated activities.
