야담에서 정치적 시각을 구현하는 양상 = The Aspects of Forming Political Views in Yadam - In case of 『Cheonggu Yadam』 -

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본고의 목적은 집성체적 성격을 가지고 있는 야담집에서 정치적 시각이 어떻게 구현되고 있는지 규명하는 것이다. 야담은 문헌전승의 과정을 거치면서 형성되는 하나의 집성체적 서사 텍스트이다. 이런 형성적 특징 때문에 야담의 연구는 다방면에서 이뤄지고 있다. 문헌전승이라는 야담의 태생적인 특징인 형성 과정과 세계관에서부터 장르론, 야담 작품집의 특성과 개별 작품의 특성, 인물의 형상화에 이르기까지 다양한 방면에서 활발한 연구가 이뤄지고 있다. 본고에서 밝히고자 하는 정치적 시각과 관련된 화소들도 야담집에서 자주 나타난다. 이에 대해서는 기존에는 편찬자의 비정과 관련한 문제, 즉 편찬자의 당파와 밀접한 관련을 가지고서 개별 작품들을 처리하고 있다. 하지만 이를 작품 내적으로 면밀히 바라본다면 정치적 시각은 다양한 방식을 통해 나타남을 알 수 있다. 우선 정치적 시각이 포착되는 지점이다. 야담에서 정치적 시각은 주로 인물의 포폄이나 시대상의 분위기를 통해 자신들의 정치적 입지나 상황 등을 드러내고 있다. 그리고 다음으로는 정치적 시각이 서사의 동력으로 작동하는 경우이다. 이 경우는 단순히 정치적 시각을 포착하는데 머무르지 않고 본격적으로 서사에 개입하는 양상을 보이고 있다. 편찬자 상정의 문제와 관련한 정치적 화소의 문제는 많이 다뤄졌다. 그런데 작품 내적으로 천착하여 이를 분석한 시도는 쉽게 찾아 볼 수 없다. 이는 야담이 집성적 성격과 더불어 긍정적인 측면이 기본 전제가 되었기 때문이다. 하지만 이를 면밀히 천착해 본다면 야담에서 정치적 시각이 어떻게 구현되는지를 포착할 수 있을 것이다. 이는 단순히 하나의 논문 속에서만 머무르지 않고 야담에 질적인 확장을 꾀하려는 시도이다. 이에 본고에서는 『靑邱野談』에 존재하고 있는 정치적 시각을 포착하고, 이러한 정치적 시각이 작품과 어떠한 접점을 만들어 내고 있는지를 밝히고자 한다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study is to investigate how political views are made in Yadam books (historical story books) with aggregative features. Yadam is an aggregative and narrative text that forms through the process of literature transmission. Studies on Yadam have been made in varied directions due to this forming feature. From the forming process with literature transmission which is the original feature of Yadam, its outlook on the world, the genre theory, the features of Yadam books and the features of each work to formalizing characters, the studies are actively made in many different ways. The motifs related to political views which this study intends to investigate often appear in Yadam books. For this, the individual works were previously handled with the matters closely related to misgovernment of the compiler, in other words, faction of the compiler. However, looking closely at the works internally, it shows that political views appeared in many different ways. First of all, it is where the political views are captured. In Yadam, the political views reveal their political positions or situations usually by implying them in criticism of characters or atmosphere of the times. The next is when the political views act as the motive power of the narration. In this case, it does not only reveal the political views but also gradually intervenes in the narration. The political motifs related to the matters introduced by the complier have been talked about a lot. But it is difficult to find attempts for deeply investigating and analyzing the works internally since Yadam has aggregative features and the positive aspects as the basic premise thereof. However, it will be able to capture how the political views form in Yadam by making a close investigation. This is not only to stay in one thesis but is an attempt to make a qualitative expansion of Yadam. Thus, in this study, the political views implied in 『Cheonggu Yadam』 shall be captured and it will show how the political views make a point of contact with the work.
