미국 전자거래관련 법제에 관한 연구-UETA를 중심으로-

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

A Uniform law proposed by the National Conference of Commissioners on Uniform State Laws regarding e-commerce is the Uniform Electronic Transactions Act(UETA). The Goal of this Act is not to create rules for electronic transactions -for example, the act does not require digital signatures- but to support the enforcement of electronic contract. UETA is grounded on three premises under most state law, that is to say, requirements for a writing can be satisfied by an electronic record, including a e-mail, requirements for a signature can be satisfied by an electronic signature, the parties to a contract can agree to any form of electronic communication.<br/>
As UETA, the Korean Electronic Transaction Act was enforced. This Act deals with electronic document, security of electronic transactions and promotion of electronic transaction and consumer protection.<br/>
The purpose of this study is to analyze the common points UETA and Korean Electronic Transaction Act and to contribute to the Korean Electronic Transaction act.
