맹자의 정치사상에 관한 연구

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study presents the political thought of Mencius.
According to the Historical Records Mencius was a native of the state of Tsou in the present southern part of Shantung province in East China.
Mencius represents the idealistic wing of Confucianism and the some what later Hsun Tzu the realistic wing.
As Mencius says :
“All men have a mind which cannot bear others. The early kings having this unbearing mind thereby had likewise an
unbearing governmenL
As Mencius affirms: “All men can become Yao or Shun". Here is Mencius' theory of education, which has been held by all Confucianists.
