The Current CORBA has many drawbacks to be successfully deployed in real-time system applications. One of the main drawbacks is that the current CORBA (version 2.3) does not support the priority mechanism in processing the method invocation. In order to alleviate this and other drawbacks, recently OMG adopted Real-Time CORBA specification. In this paper, we report our efforts of a design and implementation of Priority Model of Real-Time CORBA, which is one of the most important components in Real-Time CORBA specification. The improvement of real-time performances of our implementation is verified by expereiments.
