Fluid Flow Model of leaky Bucket Scheme with Two Thresholds = 두 개의 임계치를 갖는 리키버킷 방안의 fluid flow 모델

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 논문에서는 데이터 버퍼의 레벨에 따라 출력률이 달라지며 버퍼에 두 개의 임계치를 갖는 리키 버킷 방안을 조사한다. 입력 트래픽 모델로 MMFF를 사용하고 대기체계를 이용해 분석한다. 성능 측도로서 셀손실 확률과 평균 셀 지연등을 구한다. 하나의 임계치를 갖는 리키버킷은 데이터 버퍼의 잦은 레벨변화를 겪는데 이 현상은 시스템에 나쁜 영향을 미치므로 이를 개선하는 두 개의 임계치를 갖는 시스템을 제안하고 수치계산 예로 이 현상을 제거한다는 것을 보여준다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

We investigate the Leaky Bucket(LB) scheme with two thresholds in the data buffer in which the leaky rate changes depending on the content of data buffer. We use a Markov Modulated Fluid Flow(MMFF) model as a burst input traffic. As performance measures, we obtain cell loss probability and mean cell delay for the LB scheme with two thresholds. Numerical examples show that the LB scheme with two thresholds eliminates hysterical phenomenon which LB scheme with a threshold has.
