덕천시대(德川時代)의 『논어(論語)』관(觀)과 그 학문정신 -고학파(古學派)의 『논어(論語)』관(觀)을 중심으로- = The name of standpoint of Confucian analects and its scholastic spirits during Tokugawa era

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 논고는 「德川時代의 『論語』觀과 그 학문정신」이라는 제목 하에 주로 도쿠가와시대에 新儒學의 안티테제로서 등장하는 古學派(Kogakuha)의 학문정신 및 이들의 『論語』觀과 해석의 양상 등을 살펴 본 것이다. 그래서 이 논고는 儒敎의 텍스트 가운데 四書(The four books)의 하나인 『論語』를 둘러싸고 전개되는 주석 혹은 해석의 문제점에 관하여 일본 도쿠가와시대의 『論語』 해석에 초점을 맞추고, 동아시아 유학사에서의 『論語』해석이라는 시점 하에 일본 古學派의 『論語』觀및 그들의 학문정신을 탐구하기 위해 기획된 것이다. 이러한 의미에서 본문은 대략 두 개의 큰틀로 이루어져 있다. 본문의 첫 번째는, 「古學派」의 학문정신이라는 주제 하에 일본 古學派의 중요한 두 인물 Ito Jinsai(伊藤仁齋)와 Ogyu Sorai(荻生組徠)의 학문정신을 다루었다. 더 세밀하게 분류하면 仁齋의 Kogigaku(古義學) 정신과 ?徠의 Kobunjigaku(古文辭學) 정신을 각각 다룬 것이다. 우선 仁齋의 古義學의 두 축이 『論語』와 『孟子(The works of Mencius)』라는 것을 확인하였고, 이 두 텍스트를 철저히 심사숙고하여 읽는 것에 의해 聖人[孔子]의 뜻과 의도가 명확히 파악될 수 있다는 의미로써 古義學의 특징을 분석하였다. 그리고 ?徠의 古文辭學的학문정신으로의 사상적 전환은 宋代의 朱子學과 仁齋의 古義學에서 촉발되었다는 점을 지적하면서 古文辭學의 구체적 의미를 고찰하였다. 본문의 두 번째는 이 두 인물의 학문정신이 드러나 있는 『論語』 解釋書를 통해 이들의 論語觀과 그 해석 특징을 살펴보았다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This paper, under 「the name of standpoint of Confucian analects and its scholastic spirits during Tokugawa era」, will discuss scholastic spirit of Kogakuha appeared as Antithese against Neo-Confucianism and their standpoints of Confucian analects and aspect of its interpretation primarily for Tokugawa era. Therefore, this paper, focusing on discussion and interpretation problems about Confucian analects which is one of The four books among texts of Confucianism during Tokugawa era, will plan for research on standpoint of Kogakuha regarding Confucian analects. For these purposes, main text of this paper consists of 2 frames. The first issue in the main text, under the subject of scholastic spirit for Kogakuha, will discuss scholastic spirits of Ito Jinsai and Ogyu Sorai who were 2 major people of Kogakuha. To speaking more specifically, it will discuss the spirit of Kogigaku for Jinsai and that of Kobunjigaku for Sorai respectively. First of all, this paper confirmed that 2 axis of Kogigaku for Jinsai are Confucian analects and The works of Mencius, and analyzed the characteristics of Kogigaku in terms of the fact that meaning and intentions of the saint (Confucius) can be clarified by careful reading of these two texts. This paper, mentioning that philosophical conversion into Kobunjigaku of Sorai was incurred by Juzahak during Song era and Kogigaku of Jinsai, surveyed specific characteristics of Kobunjigaku. The second issue of main text in this paper, through interpreted book of Confucian analects in which scholastic spirits of these 2 people appeared, will discuss the standpoint of Confucian analects and its interpretation.
