      Internet of Things (IoT) is an innovation that allows people do the work easier, assisted by machinery automation that happened because of communication between devices. The variety of data type that transferred throughout the IoT network is limitless and one of its part of diversity is audio type of file, that usually, the common specific format file for audio is MP3 format. MP3 doing a magnificent job by keeping the size of an audio file low, but the quality of the sound is appropriate, but problems could happen if there is small important information, such as watermark inside of an audio, is accidentally compressed and the audio losing its capability to resist some piracy attempt. Proposed watermarking system is created to make a way for user to do a protection for audio data by using watermarking in QIM-based, but still able to make the size of the audio small by doing MP3 Compression for it, while the sound quality of the audio is considerably favorable without being anxious of the watermark shattered by the compression process and losing its watermark data protection.
