Voluntary Demand Response (DR) in South Korea is a power demand response service using bidding that allows bidders to reduce power consumption if they win the bid in competition with System Marginal Price (SMP) in the power market a day before. In this paper, bidding capacity of voluntary DR for the next trading day is predicted using historical data of customers participating in DR. This study aims to contribute to economic benefit enhancement of customers participating in DR and stabilization of power prices by participating in voluntary DR and providing predicted bidding capacity to Demand Response Management System (DRMS) recommendation service of aggregator.
