온라인 공동체(on-Line community)의 현황과 전망 = Current Status and Perspectives of on-Line community

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본고는 현재 ``SNS 열풍``이라는 온라인 공동체 활동의 현황과 전망에 대해 살펴보고자 하였다. 이 과정에서 SNS는 온라인 공동체의 기능을 수행하고 있다는 사실을 발견할 수 있었으며, 이러한 SNS 활동이 스마트 폰의 보급에 통해 시공간의 제약을 벗어나 공동체 활동을 가능하게 만들어 준 것이었다. 즉, 스마트 폰은 모바일 SNS의 발달을 가져왔고, 이러한 모바일 SNS는 스마트 폰을 통해 실생활과 온라인의 경계를 무너뜨려 어디서나 공동체 활동을 할 수 있는 장을 만들어 주었다. 기존의 공동체 활동은 시공간의 제약이 있었다 한다면, 모바일 SNS는 이러한 제약에서 벗어나 실생활 어디서나 온라인 공동체 활동을 할 수 있는 편리성을 가져다주었다. 이 때문에 SNS의 현황을 각 SNS에 따라 일상 속 공동체 활동이 온라인 공동체 활동으로 확장된 사례(싸이 월드)와 일상과 온라인 공동체 활동이 분리된 사례(블로그), 일상과 온라인 공동체 활동의 경계가 무너진 사례(모바일 SNS) 등으로 분류해 낼 수 있었다. 앞으로 SNS는 일상과 온라인 공동체 활동의 경계가 무너지는 현상이 가속화 될 것이며, 이 때문에 ``일상의 노출``이라는 부작용이 심화될 것으로 전망된다. 앞으로의 SNS를 통한 온라인 공동체 활동은 모바일 기술의 발전으로 더욱 이용자가 많아질 전망이므로 더욱 ``일상의 노출``이라는 문제 상황은 선결되어야 할 과제로 남아있다.

This paper contains ``SNS fever`` status and prospects of on-line community. In this process, it is discovered that SNS perfoms as on-line community. This makes through a supply of smartphones, beyond the constraints of time and space, community activity makes easier. As an increase of using smartphone, mobile SNS breaks down a boundary of real life and online, so we can have community activities anywhere. Unlike existing community activities that the limitation of space-time, mobile SNS has convenience in any on-line communities. There for because of this, I current status of SNS system classified each for extended case (on ``Cyworld``), isolated cases (on ``Blog``), collapsed boundary case (on ``mobile SNS``). SNS makes accelerating the collapse between the boundary phenomenon and user`s daily life. As growing the development of mobile technology, many users do on-line community activities using SNS widely. At the same time, invasions of user privacy is remained to be resolved.
