시간제 보육 제공기관 담당자의 생각과 경험 연구: 어린이집 및 육아종합지원센터를 중심으로 = A Study on the Thoughts and Experiences of Those in Charge of Part-time Childcare Providers: Focusing on Daycare Centers and Childcare Support Centers

국문 초록 (Abstract)

시간제 보육 제공기관 담당자의 생각과 경험 연구:어린이집 및 육아종합지원센터를 중심으로

연구 목적: 이 연구는 시간제 보육 제공기관 담당자들의 생각과 경험을 어린이집 및 육아종합지원센터를 중심으로 알아보고자 한다. 시간제 보육의 장단점과 개선방안, 향후 방향 등을 파악하고 기초자료를 제공하며 시간제 보육 활성화 방안을 모색하는 데 그 목적이 있다.
연구 방법: 시간제 보육 제공기관 담당자 11명을 대상으로 심층 면접을 시행하여 결과를 도출하였다.
연구 내용: 시간제 보육은 부모들의 여가 활용과 양육 부담을 줄일 수 있고, 기본 보육 반 등록으로 연결되며, 영아의 어린이집 적응에 긍정적인 도움이 된다. 교사 혼자서 세 명의 영아 보육, 연령의 차이가 클 때 보육의 어려움이 발생하며, 교사 처우개선, 휴게시간 사용의 어려움, 홍보의 어려움 등을 토로하고 있었다.
결론 및 제언: 시간제 보육은 필요하며, 긍정적인 효과뿐만 아니라 시간제 보육의 어려움 개선사항 해결을 위한 노력, 국가 차원의 홍보, 대상 연령을 5세로 확대해 시행하며, 이용자 확대, 시간제 보육에 관한 다양한 연구를 제안한다. 시간제 보육 활성화 방안을 포함하여 시간제 보육이 나아갈 방향을 살펴볼 필요가 있다.

A Study on the Thoughts and Experiences of Thosein Charge of Part-time Childcare Providers:Focusing on Daycare Centers and Childcare Support Centers

Abstract: This study seeks to examine the thoughts and experiences of staff at part-time child care providers, focusing on day care centers and child care support centers. The purpose is to identify the pros and cons of part-time childcare, improvement measures, and future directions, provide basic data, and seek ways to revitalize part-time childcare. In-depth interviews were conducted with 11 people in charge of part-time child care providers and the results were derived. Part-time childcare can reduce parents’ leisure use and childcare burden, leads to registration in basic childcare classes, and is a positive help in infants’ adaptation to daycare centers. Teachers were complaining about the difficulties of taking care of three infants alone, the difficulty of childcare when there is a large age difference, the improvement of teacher treatment, the difficulty of using recess time, and the difficulty of public relations. Part-time childcare is necessary, and in addition to its positive effects, efforts to improve the difficulties of part-time childcare, publicity at the national level, expansion of the target age to 5 years old, expansion of users, and various studies on part-time childcare are proposed. There is a need to look at the direction in which part-time childcare will move, including ways to revitalize part-time childcare.
