부모의 지위, 사회자본과 학생들의 학습행복 향상 연구

국문 초록 (Abstract)

목적: 본 연구는 대학생 부모의 직업지위와 사회자본이 학업성취에 미치는 영향에 대해 총체적으로 분석하여 대학생들이 학업성취를 통해 학습행복 향상을 얻을 수 있는 교육적 · 사회적 정책의 방안을 모색하고자 이루어졌다.
연구방법: 본 연구는 수도권에 재학 중인 대학생을 대상으로 설문지 조사를 통해 분석되었다.
결과: 본 연구를 통해 나타난 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 대학생이 지각한 부모의 직업지위는 높은 집단보다 낮은 집단이 더 많은 것으로 나타났으며, 어머니의 경우 전업주부집단과 취업집단으로 구분했을 때 취업집단이 더 높은 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 아버지와 어머니의 직업지위에 따라 대학생의 학업성취도에 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 어머니의 취업여부에 따라 대학생의 학업성취에 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 대학생이 소유한 사회자본은 학업성취도와 관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 다섯째, 부모의 직업지위는 학과공동체적 태도를 매개로 학업성취에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.
가치: 본 연구는 대학생 부모의 직업지위, 사회자본, 학업성취도간의 관계를 제시함으로써 대학생들이 학업성취를 통한 학습행복의 경험을 얻기 위해 교육당국 및 정부에서 고려해야 할 기초적인 정보를 제공하는 데 의의가 있다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to establish a relationships parent occupation status, social capital and academic achievement of university students. The subjects for this study were 318 university students. The collected data were analyzed with SPSS 22.0 program. The results of the study are as follows. First, the university student`s occupation status is found to have more groups than the higher class. Second, according to parents` occupational status, there is a difference in the academic achievement of university students. Third, according to mother`s occupation, there is a difference in the academic achievement of university students. Fourth, social capital owned by university students was found to be related to academic achievement.
Based on these results, the conclusions are as follows. First, a customized child education support policy, a magnification of scholarship rates and a variety of scholarship programs are required for parents with low occupation status. Second, since mothers` employment has a positive effect on the academic achievement of university students, opportunities for job creation for mothers of students should be expanded socially. Third, university education institutions need to create a system conducive to promoting social capital in schools and systematically organize systems for their support.
