1. <Yang Ji Sa Seok> is a Buddhist biograohy whose hero, Yang Ji, is an excellent artist in spite of his having the greater power of Buddha.
2. 'Pung(風)' or 'Pung Yo(風謠)' is the song sung by the populace when they were felt enlightened by their king's good ruling <Pung Yo> was sung by the people in the capital city who had been moved by Yang Ji's making images of buddha with a pure heart, Therefore the two kinds of song has a common motivation.
3. <Pung Yo> was sung by the populace for the first time in 635 A.D., when they carried the clay for Jang Yuk Jon Sang in the Young Myo Temple. The song is a quatrain of four syllables and two feet. It seems to express the main doctrines of Buddhism such as metempsychsis, mutability, and virtue, It may be defined as the song of Buddhism and enlightenment.
