      다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

      The purpose of this study was to effects of bicycle ergometer exercise training on the metabolic syndrome risk factors in the middle aged-men. Subjects were composed of bicycle ergometer group(n=10) and control group(n=10). bicycle ergometer exercise training group have performed on a bicycle at RPE 13-14 of exercise intensity for 40 minutes. bicycle ergometer exercise training was consisted of 3 times per week was continued to 12 weeks. The results were as follows:
      1) In the case of the exercise group, %body fat, fat mass, fat-free mass after 12 weeks of bicycle ergometer exercise training. This was not a remarkable difference.
      2) TC, TG, LDL-C were significantly decrease in comparison with pre cycling exercise, and HDL-C were significantly increase in comparison with pre bicycle ergometer exercise training.
      systolic blood pressure and diastolic blood pressure, waist circumference, Glucose after 12 weeks of bicycle ergometer exercise training. This was not a remarkable difference.
      These results suggested that cycling exercise has effects on metabolic syndrome risk factors in the middle aged-men.
