대자보의 기록화 필요성과 발전방향 : 대자보의 사회문화적 가치를 중심으로

‘Dae-Ja-Bo’ has played a role as an alternative media especially used by college students. College students reflect their own opinions into ‘Dae-Ja-Bo’ and induce others to discuss social issues. Furthermore, they form various identities and make collective behaviors. In these aspects, ‘Dae-Ja-Bo’ reflects values of time period from a college students’ view. The purpose of this study is to approach ‘Dae-Ja-Bo’ as records by verifying ‘Dae-Ja-Bo’s sociocultural values and suggest
To this end, this study suggests three sociocultural theory :　Paradigm changes in records with Postmodernism and public history, Semiotics and archival concept by Hans Booms, and Habermas’s Public sphere. This process was necessary to understand ‘Dae-Ja-Bo’s sociocultural values.
In addition, this study associated three sociocultural values with ‘Dae-Ja-Bo’s characteristics. We have found ‘Dae-Ja-Bo’s historical values and meaning, identity formation by various semiotic process, and constant formation of public spheres. To strengthen the study, case study has been proceeded. With this method, we have find that ‘Dae-Ja-Bo’ can be recognized as records reflecting the phases of time periods and conceptual constructs.
This study suggested development directions for archiving ‘Dae-Ja-Bo’ records. Especially, we have outlined the importance of organizing advisory committee which Hans Booms had suggested for archiving historical records. Lastly, this study ends with various archival issues that should be discussed in advisory committee such as main agents of committee or authenticity of records.
‘Dae-Ja-Bo’ can be recognized as records reflecting time periods and involving various sociocultural values. However, the studies of ‘Dae-Ja-Bo’ have been focused on approaches of Sociology and Journalism, rather than archival studies. Thus, this study can help us to understand ‘Dae-Ja-Bo’ as records and conceptual constructs. In addtion, this study can be one of examples for expanding the realm of records. Lastly, I believe this study is meaningful for preserving ‘Dae-Ja-Bo’ as historical heritage.
