      Even though there are such development environments as MapServer for Web-based map applications and ArcGIS for mobile-based map applications, the productivity of map applications is low and the management of these applications requires much effort because those environments support low level of automation.
      MobileMapGen, which we designed and implemented supports the productivity enhancement of map applications by generating the client-server based Web and mobile applications automatically. The applications that are generated by MobileMapGen support the user-defined geographical map contents types and the search based on these types. Moreover, MobileMapGen applications provide the user-interested map content with its related contents. The applications that are generated by such conventional generators as WINDEV Mobile 17, MobilForms and VisualStudio. NET do not support the user-defined contents types and provide just the user-interested content.
