한국교육사 연구에서 문화인류학적 지평 도입의 의의 = The Perspective of Cultural Anthropology in the Study of History of Korean Education

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This thesis is to examine the effects of the perspective of cultural anthropology in studying the history of Korean education. It was commenced to find out the solutions, since the field of history of education has been in the crisis situation that the subject ‘History of Education’ was excluded from the required courses of teachers colleges recently. Applying the perspective of cultural anthropology to studying the history of Korean education, we can identify the characteristics of educational culture of our times by means of a synchronic method. And on the basis of this, we can identify the similar characteristics of educational culture through a diachronic method in the traditional societies. After all, we are to know that the traits of educational culture of now and then are almost same. And then we will understand our present education well and we can improve the conditions of our education. In addition, the importance of the subject ‘History of Education’ will be appreciated.
