노인요양시설 요양보호사의 안전관리 인식수준과 안전사고 대응태도가 노인돌봄태도에 미치는 영향: 직무만족도 조절된 매개효과 중심으로 = The Effect of the Level of Safety Management Perception and Safety Accident Response Attitude of the Care Givers at Nursing Home for the Elderly on the Care Giving Attitude for the Elderly: Focused on

국문 초록 (Abstract)

요양서비스가 필요한 노인은 노인요양시설에서 편안하고 안전한 삶을 누릴 권리가 있고, 노인요양시설에서는 이용자의 생명·건강 등의 안전을 당연히 확보해야 할 의무가 있다. 안전은 인간의 기본적인 욕구이기 때문에 서비스 질 관리의 중요성과 함께 리스크 관리에 대한 관심이 높아지게 되었다. 노인요양시설의 안전관리의 질은 요양서비스와 직결된다고 하여도 지나치지 않으며, 노인요양서비스에서 안전관리에 대한 관심이 더욱 높아졌다. 본 연구는 안전관리 인식수준은 안전과 관련된 전체적인 체계(시스템)에 대한 것이고, 안전사고 대응태도는 사고가 발생했을 때 대응에 대한 것이다. 본 연구의 목적은 노인요양시설에서 발생할 수 있는 안전사고에 줄이는 방법을 모색하는 것으로서 안전관리 인식수준과 안전사고 대응태도가 요양보호사의 노인돌봄태도에 미치는 영향을 조절된 매개효과로 직무만족도를 알아보는 것을 조사하여 사전에 예방할 수 있는 실천적 대안을 모색하는 것이다. 자료수집은 C시의 노인요양시설 107개소의 요양보호사들을 대상으로 하였고, 설문조사는 총 321부를 배부하여 269부를 분석에 사용하였다. 본 연구는 단순매개효과, 조절효과, 조절된 매개효과를 순서대로 분석하였고, 주요 연구결과는 안전관리 인식수준은 안전사고 대응태도와 노인돌봄태도에 대해 유의미한 직접효과를 나타내는 것으로 나타냈으며, 직무만족도는 안전관리 인식수준이 안전사고 대응태도에 미치는 정적 효과를 촉진되었으며, 노인돌봄태도에 미치는 효과가 직무만족도의 수준에 따라 달라짐을 확인하였다. 실천적 제언으로 첫째, 환경과 체계의 문제로 안전관리 인식수준이 중요하다. 인식수준 향상을 위한 질적 및 양적인 안전관리의 환경개선, 관리자의 안전관리에 대한 노력, 사고가 발생하면 대응하기 위한 보고체계와 위원회의 체계화가 필요하다. 둘째, 안전사고 대응태도의 문제로 교육이 중요하다. 안전사고의 대응태도를 개선하기 위해서는 교육/훈련을 통하여 노인요양시설 내에 안전이 정착될 수 있도록 노력하여야 한다. 셋째, 요양보호사의 직무만족의 문제이다. 요양보호사들의 직무만족을 위한 업무환경 개선 및 정서직지지, 소통, 상사의 관계, 보상 등이 요구된다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The elderly in need of care service have the right to enjoy a comfortable and safe life at the nursing home for the elderly, and the nursing home for the elderly naturally has the obligation to ensure the safety of the users’ life and health. Since safety is a fundamental human desire, along with the importance of the quality control of service, interest in risk management has increased. It would not be enough to stress that the quality of the nursing home for the elderly’s safety management is directly related to the care service, and the interest in safety management in the care service for the elderly has increasingly grown. In this study, the level of safety management perception concerns the entire system related to safety, and the safety accident response attitude concerns the response in the event of accidents. The purpose of this study is to seek how to reduce safety accidents which might occur at the nursing home for the elderly, and also to seek practical alternatives for preventing them in advance by surveying the job satisfaction as an Moderated Mediationeffect for the effect on the caring attitude for the elderly of the care giver in the context of the level of safety management perception and safety accident response attitude. Data were collected from care givers at 107 nursing homes for the elderly in the city of C, and a total of 321 copies of the survey questionnaires were distributed, of which 269 copies were used for analysis. This study performed analysis in the sequence of the simple mediated effect, adjusted effect, and the Moderated Mediationeffect, and the results of major studies indicated that the level of safety management perception has a significant direct effect on the caring attitude for the elderly along with the safety accident response attitude, while the job satisfaction showed that the level of safety management perception facilitated a positive effect on the safety accident response attitude, and the effect on the caring attitude for the elderly varied as per the level of job satisfaction. As for the practical recommendations, first, the level of safety management perception is important as an issue of environment and system. Needed are the qualitative and quantitative environmental improvement for safety management, efforts for safety management of the administrator, reporting system for response in the event of incidents, and systematization of committee. Second, education is important as it is a matter of the response attitude for safety accidents. To improve the response attitude for safety accidents, efforts must be made to ensure safety within the nursing homes for the elderly via education and training. Third, it is a matter of job satisfaction of the care giver. For the care givers’ job satisfaction, improvement of work environment, emotional support, communication, relationship with superior officers, and compensation, etc., are required.
