노인요양시설 거주공간 구성체계에 관한 연구 : 충남 지역을 중심으로 = A Study on the Residential Space Organization System of the Elderly Care Facilities

국문 초록 (Abstract)

우리나라는 급속한 출산율 감소와 의학기술의 발달로 인한 수명연장 등에 기인하여 2008년 상반기 현재 65세 이상 노인인구가 5,010,000명으로 전체인구의 10.3%에 달할 정도로 고령화가 세계에서 유래가 없는 속도로 진행되고 있고, 치료의 목적보다는 노인을 돌볼 수 있는 가족이 없어 가족요양(돌봄)에도 한계를 느끼고 있다. 그러나 우리나라의 경우 아직까지 거주공간에 대한 개념이 명확히 설정되어 있지 않고 건축계획 시 이를 적절히 고려하지 못해 거주공간 구성체계가 기능적이지 못하거나 시설 내 거주공간 규모가 적정한 규모로 계획되지 못하는 경향이 있다. 본 연구에서는 노인요양시설 내 거주공간의 구성체계를 파악하고 실내건축계획 시 적용 가능한 거주공간의 유형과 각 유형별 규모 및 특성을 분석하고자 한다.

Due to prolonged life span by a sharp fall in birth rate and development of medical technologies, Korea has approximately five million population of older people more than 65 years old in the first half of 2008, representing 10.3% of Korea's total population and witnessing the fastest aging society in the world. Accordingly, we are facing difficulties and limits in caring the elderly because there are no families to take care of them rather than the purpose of treatment. Unfortunately, Korea has not clearly defined meanings on residential space so far and was not able to consider them when planning constructions, tending that neither the organization system is functional, nor area of residential space within facilities is planned appropriately. This study aims to fully understand residential space organization system within the elderly care facilities and to analyze applicable types of residential space, scale by types and features when planing an interior design.
