The number of the disabled was more than 2.5million in 2013, and it covered 4.9% of the population of the Korean. With the large amount of the disabled, it became a major issue to develop products and services with assistive technologies that improve accessibility. Many developed countries, such as United States, EU, and Japan, have established acts to protect the disabled from discrimination in using products or services. Manufacturing companies have made guidelines to improve accessibility of their products. Nevertheless, most products and services are intended for blindness/low visions and perception of information. To promote developments of products and services for various disability types and interaction types, we investigated weak points or drawbacks of the existing guidelines through a systematic analysis. The current guidelines which were established by different countries and IT companies were collected. Then, the guidelines were classified into disability types, interaction types, and information types. As a result, weak points of the current guidelines were analyzed. In addition, it suggests a direction for future research studies on accessibility.
