국내 간호학과의 인문사회교육현황과 과제 = Current Status and Challenge of Domestic Nursing Education on Humanities and Social Science in Korea

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 간호학과에서 다양하게 이루어지고 있는 인문사회교육의 현황을 파악하고 이를 통하여 앞으로 간호학과교육에서 인문사회교육이 나아가야 할 방향을 제시하고자 시도하였다. 자료수집은 2016년 10월 20일 부터 11월 10일까지 서울과 대전지역 4년제 간호학과 총 16개 대학의 교육과정을 분석하기 위해 대학홈페이지를 중심으로 해당대학의 인문사회과학과정에 관한 자료를 수집하여 인문계열, 사회계열, 기타계열로 구분하여 개설 교과목과 학점을 분석하였다. 연구결과 인문과학으로는 심리학 11개(14.7%), 철학⋅윤리학 6개(8.0%), 문화⋅민속⋅미술사학⋅예술 5개(6.7%), 역사학⋅고고학⋅인류학 3개(4.0%), 기타 교양인문학 3개(4.0%), 종교학 2개(2.7%) 순으로 나타났다. 사회과학 과목은 국제학⋅환경 8개(10.7%), 가족⋅복지학⋅성 4개(5.3%), 사회학 4개(5.3%) 정치와 경제 1개(1.3%) 순으로 시행이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 그 외 기타과목으로 인간관계와 의사소통론 15개(20.0%), 인간발달 9개(12.0%), 조사방법론 2개(2.7%) 그리고 리더십 2개(2.7%)가 개설되어있었다. 간호는 인간을 대상으로 하는 실용학문으로 자연과학뿐만 아니라 인문사회교육이 매우 필요하다. 따라서 간호학과에서 인문학적 역량을 함양할 수 있는 교과목을 다양하게 개설하고 운영하여야 하겠다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to provide humanities and social science in nursing education a way to proceed, through examining its current status. To analyze curricula obtained from official websites of 16 different nursing departments of universities located in Seoul and Daejeon, we collected data during Oct. 20, 2016 and Nov. 10 regarding its humanities and social science education and compared courses credits sorted to humanities, social science, and etc. As a result, for humanities studies 11 courses existed in psychology (14.7%), 6 in ethics and philosophy (8.0%), 5 in culturology, folklore, art history, and art (6.7%), 3 in history, archeology, and anthropology (4.0%), 3 in other liberal arts (4.0%), and 2 in religion (2.7%). Also for social science 8 courses existed in international studies and environmentology (10.7%), 4 in family, welfare, and gender (5.3%), 4 in sociology (5.3%), 1 in politics and economics (1.3%). In addition, there are 15 courses in human relationship and communication (20.0%), 9 in human development (12.0%), 2 search methodology in (2.7%), and 2 in leadership (2.7%). As nursing education is a practical science to treat human, humanities and social science programs are in absolute need as well as natural science. The department of nursing science should provide various courses, so that nursing students could cultivate their competencies in humanities and social science.
