This article aims to examine the digital environment as a new space for writing, and comprehensively reviews the value and availability of Wiki as a platform for humanities research and education. In Chapter 1, this article compares the differences between linear writing in analog environments and combinatorial writing in digital environments. In Chapter 2, this article describes the meaning of Wiki in three aspects: software engine, database, and website. Furthermore, this article discusses the availability of Wiki as a multimedia utilization platform and a constructing data platform. In Chapter 3, this article explores the possibility of Wiki, a platform of cooperation and sharing, being utilized in the humanities field while reviewing the representative cases of Wiki use on the web. In Chapter 4, this article explores several cases in which Wiki was utilized as a platform for humanities research, and examines the various ways of humanities education possible in the Wiki environment in terms of digital literacy, media literacy, and data literacy.
