      다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

      Purposes of this study are to analyse epistemological features of law-related learning content, and to seek types of writting assessment as a part of authentic assessment tools of law-related education in social studies. Results of this study can be summarized as follows: If legal problem in real life were to be resolved, there inevitably need certain problem solving process. that is to confirm facts in that problem, and to confirm legal issues in that facts, and to analyse legal reasoning, finally to make legal decision. Therefore epistemologically, law-related learning content in social studies should contain 4 cognitive elements, that is fact, legal issue, legal reasoning, legal decision. And authentic assessment tools in that area of social studies should assess those 4 cognitive elements. One of useful assessment tools which can confirm those 4 cognitive elements in law-related education is writting concretely essay writting, legal writting and correspondence.
