Recently, the electrodeless lamp is introduced as a new light source of a high efficacy and long life. Although electrodeless lamp"s size is large, most of them is applied to general luminaire for HID lamps. It causes to decrease electrodeless lamp"s efficacy. Therefore, refractor luminaires can be an option to maintain efficacy, so that reflector luminaires are developed for such lamps. The purpose of this study is to develope a optical numerical model of planar prism luminaire that is able to obtain various luminous intensity distributions.
