Coulter 자동혈구계 산기 (Coulter S Plus IV) 의 백혈구 histogram 에서 이상을 보이는 검사결과의 검토 = Significance of Abnormal WBC Histogram in Coulter Counter

국문 초록 (Abstract)

1957 년 aperture-impedance 혈구계 산법 이 개 발 된 이래 자동혈구계산기는 검사실 내의 일반혈액검사의 업무를 혁신적으로 변화시켰다 1) 즉 단시간에 다량의 검체를 능률적으로 재현성 있는 검사를 자동혈구계산기를 이용해서 할 수 있게 되었다. 저자들은 일반혈액검사업무의 자체 정도관리 중에 서울대학교 병원에서 사용하는 혈구계산기인 Coulter 5 Plus IV (Coulter Electronics, INC, Hialeah: 이 하 Coulter) 기종의 검사값 중에서 백혈구 histogram에 이상을 보이븐 값들이 수기법으로 재검한 값과 차이가 있음을 발견하였다. 이들은 기계에서 여러 형태로 표지를 해주게 되는데 이 표지된 백혈구 histogram 에 이 상이 있는 검 사값이 International Committee for 5tandardization in Hematology (IC5H) 가 추천하는 기준검사법인 수기법과 차이가 있는지, 또 다른 원리 인 light scattering을 이 용하는 혈구계 산기 인 H -1 5ystem (T echnicon Instrument Corporation. CoulterS Plus series hematologic autoanalyzers (Coulter Electronics, INC. Hialeah) have long been the mainstay of the routine hematology laboratories in Korea. The analyzer flaggs results with abnormal histograms or data out of the range specified, but those flaggs are often neglected and data with them are reported to physicians.
