다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The most important use of the program life cycle in recreation lies in the development of a program audit.
Life cycle management should consider not only individual program life cycles but also the total mix of program life cycle.
This is done by prudent introduction of new programs, pruning of old programs, and careful allocation of money and manpower among existing programs according to their potential for attracting users.
The fallowing steps suggest a procedure for undertaking a program aduit.
1) In order to identify a true life cycle curve, data adjusted to allow for population changes Thus a ratio such as attendance per thousand population most appropriated.
2) Project program participation based upon all of the information gathered.
