The government office building of the Yeoju City Hall is seriously dilapidated as it has been built for 36 years. In addition, it has the very narrow space. These elements cause many conveniences to its employees and civil petitioners. For this reason, the Yeoju City Hall is considering the scheme to move its government office building to a new place. Diverse arguments have been presented about a new government office building in several terms such as the balanced development of the city, traffic convenience and the like. But the reality is that the conclusion has not still been drawn about it. So this study attempted to apply the Feng-shui theory to seven locations mentioned as a newly proposed site of the Yeoju City Hall for the analytical purpose. As a result, it was found that the geomantic factor of two points such as Yeonyang-dong and Hyenam-dong were remarkably excellent compared to the other places and in terms of scenery or landscape. Especially, the location of Yeonam-dong is enveloped by the river and its locational condition is similar to that of Pudong in Shanghai as it is that place where waters coming from seven places converge. Accordingly, there is a need to make an active examination of the scheme for moving the government office building of the Yeoju City Hall to the site of Yeonam-dong.
