환경 변화에 따른 스포츠 관련 전공의 진로 교육 내실화 방안 = A Study on the Improvement of Career Education for Sports-related Majors in Response to Environmental Change

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 연구는 취업시장의 환경 변화를 예측하여 스포츠 관련 전공 학생들의 진로 교육 내실화를 위한 방법을 제시하고자 하였다. 연구참여자는 15년 이상의 학생 상담 경력이 있는 대학교수와 지도자 10명으로 선정하였고, 선행연구를 바탕으로 연구 문제를 구성하여사전 질문지를 통해 FGI 인터뷰 문항을 개발하였다. 이를 통해 1차 대면 FGI와 2차 비대면 FGI을 실시하였고 반복적 비교분석법을 통해 결과를 토출하였다. 이 연구의 결론 및 제언은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 취업시장의 환경 변화에 대한 거시적 대응이 필요하다. 취업시장의 변화에 따른 교육환경의 개선과 스포츠 시장의 근원적 개선을 통해 학생들의 진로 선택을 확대할 필요가 있다. 둘째, 학생들이진로 불안을 경험하지 않도록 대학과 학과 차원의 역할이 강조되어야 하며 프로그램의 개선과 진로 교육의 중요성을 인식하는 담론이 필요하다. 셋째, 대학 진로 교육의 내실화를 위해 진로 취업프로그램을 개발하고 교과(비교과)를 체계적으로 학생들에게 제공하여야 한다. 전문교재의 개발과 전문 강사의 육성을 병행할 때 진로 교육이 정착할 수 있다. 넷째, 진로 교육 내실화를 위해 지역사회와의 네트워크 구축이 필요하다. 취업의 불균형을 해소하고 지역위기를 극복하기 위해서는 지역 정주형 취업에 관심이 필요하다. 지역인재의 지역 정주를 통한 지역과 지역기업의 성장은 상호작용을 통해 효과가 극대화될 수 있다는 결론을 제시하였다. 향후 정량적 통계 부분과 구체적인 대안을 제시하기 위한 연구 설계가 병행될 필요성을 제언하였다.

The purpose of this study was to identify methods that enhance career education for sports related majors by predicting environmental changes in the job market. A total of 10 faculty members and coaches who have more than 15 years of student counseling experience participated in this study.
Research questions were formulated based on previous studies and FGI interview questions were developed through preliminary questionnaire. In-person FGI interviews were conducted followed by remote FGI interviews. A constant comparison method was employed for the data analysis. The results of this study were as follows. First, a macro response is needed for the environmental changes in the job market. Specifically, it may be required the improvement of educational environment as well as fundamental sport market to expand students’ career options. Second, the college and department level approaches should be emphasized to reduce students’ anxiety regarding their future career.
Specifically, it was necessary to have discourses that recognizes the importance of career related program improvement as well as career education. Third, career and employment preparation programs must be developed to reinforce college career education, and provide curriculum (non-curriculum) to students systemically. A career education can be established through the development of specialized books along with the training of professional instructors. Fourth, it was necessary to build a network with the local community to enhance career education. In order to resolve employment imbalances and overcome regional crises, interest in regional residential employment will be needed. In addition, the results suggested that the interaction between local companies and the students with local talent will be able to create maximum effect of the region and local companies’ growth. Looking ahead, future studies should focus on providing specific solutions using quantitative methods is warranted.
