국가수준 유치원교육과정 고시문에 나타난 ‘유아’ 형상의 비판적 해석 = A critical interpretation of the figuration of “young child” in the national kindergarten curriculum

국문 초록 (Abstract)

국가수준 유치원교육과정의 고시문은 법률적 구속성을 가진 문서로서 유아교육 실제에 강력한 영향을 형성할 수 있는 공적 담론으로서 작동한다. 본 연구에서는 고시문에서 유아교육의 기본 전제이자 출발이라 할 수 있는 유아 존재를 어떻게 형상화하고 있는지 탐색하기 위하여 키워드네트워크 분석을 시도하였다. 1차 이후 현행 교육과정의 고시문에서 ‘유아’가 포함된 문장을 추출한 후, 빅데이터 분석 솔루션인 TEXTOM을 이용하여 키워드 빈도 및 ‘유아’와 동시 출현하는 키워드의 빈도를 확인하고 시각화하였다. 분석 결과, ‘교육’, ‘생활’, ‘발달’ 등의 키워드 빈도가 높게 나타났고, ‘유아-발달’, ‘유아-생활’, ‘교사-유아’ 순으로 동시출현 빈도가 상대적으로 높았다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 국가수준 유치원교육과정에서 형상화 하는 ‘발달하는 유아’의 담론적 의미를 도출하는 한편, 국가수준 유치원교육과정의 발달주의적 관점을 비판적으로 논의하면서 ‘포스트휴먼 어린이(~어린이~)’로의 ‘유아’의 재형상화를 제안하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The National Kindergarten Curriculum, is a legal document which is publicly available, strongly influences the practice of early childhood education. This study aimed to critically interpret the terminology used in reference to young children, which is the premise of early childhood education. For this purpose, sentences containing “young child(ren)” were extracted from the current curriculum. Using TEXTOM, a big data analysis solution, the frequency of keywords was checked, as well as the frequency of keywords that appeared simultaneously with “young child(ren)” were checked, as well as the frequency of keywords that appeared simultaneously with “young child(ren)”. The information was visualized through a word tree, word cloud, and ego network. Based on this, the keyword frequency was found to be high for “education”, “life”, and “development”. Furthermore, “young child-development”, “young child-life”, and “teacher-young child” showed the highest co-occurrence frequency, in that order. Subsequently, the researcher critically discussed the developmentalist perspective on the term “young child” in the National Kindergarten Curriculum and suggested the refiguring it into a “post-human child(~child~).”
