In orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) transmission, the time-varying effect gives rise to inter-carrier interference (ICI) degrading error performance due to orthogonality destruction, particularly, the influence of ICIs is more poignant when deploying multiple antennas since they are generated in proportion to the number of transmit antennas. In order to resolve this problem, we propose linear minimum mean square error (LMMSE) iterative receivers which provide good performance closed to matched filter bound with considerable computational complexity reduction.
