A request, 'summarize briefly', sounds like 5 Year's Planning of Economic Development to me. That demand perplexes me. I am not skilful at making a long story short, which has caused my paper to lengthen. I feel uncomfortable unless I clear up the whys and hows whenever I have to tell a story. That habit seems to be incurable. Therefore, if you give me an assigned form called 'abstract', I will be got into difficulties. Sadly, however, since I am nothing but a piece of student, I have no choice but to write as directed. It is sorrowful.
If you come up with a thought that it is about Confucius's moral culture after you read the title 'A study on Confucius's moral culture philosophy', you guess wrong. That is not what I get across. My story is not aimed at proving Confucius's greatness. This is the story about who I am going to be and what kind of life I am going to possess. I just had a conversation with Confucius. I want to tell that the reason why I talked with Confucius is not that he is a great sage. That I should know that Confucius is great does not interest me. What made me be eager to have a conversation with Confucius is a following phrase.
To learn truth and live it timely, is it not joyful?
To make friend with distant people, is it not pleasing?
Not to be upset when one is ignored, is it not human?
My heart throbbed with delight and pleasure that he said. My story deals with a journey that I set about with this 'throbbing'. I truly have no intention of generalizing my story. This is throughly my story from start to end. I thought that, however, if Confucius wanted to talk about 'throbbing' Confucius hoped to share with us - I, you, and we, - this story will not be left as just my own story. It is because life filled with throbbing, delight and pleasure that Confucius said is a life of rainbow which each hue of I, you, and we consists of.
