In this paper, a programming methodology for fault tolerant real time control software using a multitasking programming language on a typical fault tolerant real time multiprocessor hardware is proposed. The real time application developed using the proposed methodology can continue its control task in spite of recurrent faults. When a fault occurs, the application program automatically reconfigures the system to continue its control operation and to prepare for future faults.
