신자유주의와 합의제 민주주의의 위기: 독일 적,녹연정과 대연정 시기를 중심으로 = Neoliberalism and Crisis of Consensus Democracy; Focusing on the Era of Red-Green Coalition and Grand Coalition of Germany

In the world of globalization, actors in political and economic spheres are not free from the pressure of adaptation. The research aims at explaining changes and perspectives of political sphere in relation with German consensus democracy, which appeared as a neo-liberal response to globalization. The consensus tradition of Germany regarded as the exemplary politico-economic system of developing a society while maintaining stability and efficiency is facing crisis due to the challenges of economic globalization and its consequences. Concrete objective of the study, which is focusing on the critical phenomenon of consensus democracy, is Red-Green Coalition between Social Democratic Party of New Middle and Green Party appeared in the middle of 1990`s(1998~2005) and Great Coalition of Christian Democratic Union and Social Democratic Party (2005~present). Reviewing various policies with a focus on labor policy, it aims at presenting concrete explanation through analyzing data of changing trends in real politics rather than abstract and theoretical approaches.
