콘크리트를 이용한 도자 조형연구 : 물성적 표현 중심으로

By understanding the inner sight of a material, the artists configures the material through their genuine ways of expression and languages.
These configured languages are appeared through various medias and are expressed visually and symbolically.
Arts are being completed through their existence of inner self, and draws creativity within mankind's inner conscious. Thus, such facts becomes the motivation for the creation.
Material's physical property is a significant artistic matter as well as theme by presence of itself. Its mind and unconsciousness make itself more expressing and it is expanding to new way of art through combination with other matters due to its inner desire.
This research shows the ways of combining ceramics with concrete therefore tries to provide symbolism and meaning. Such purposes also finds the feeling of new matters and new space. Through various forms, this research flows to the researcher's artistic way and expresses various emotions through more simple and proportional way. Further more, this research tries to expand the limit of ceramic's expressing ability.
This research includes 4 chapter where,
Chapter 1 tries to organize the properties and relevancies of concrete and ceramics. It contains information of the relationship between concept of physical properties of concrete and soil.
Chapter 2 shows similar artistic concepts that relates ceramic and concrete. By doing so, the research tries to find relevancies between this research and others.
Chapter 3 explicitly describes the concept and building process of this research's works.
Chapter 4 includes the true individual meanings of the researcher's works.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

예술가는 깊은 내면을 통해서 사물의 본질을 이해하고 각자 고유한 표현방법이나 언어를 만들어서 형상화 한다.
형상되어진 언어는 여러 매체를 통해서 나타내어지고 시각적이고 상징적인 것으로 표현되어진다.
예술은 본질이 존재에 의해서 완성되어지고, 창작활동에 있어서 인간의 의식의 잠재적 가능성을 보여주며 이것은 창조의 원동력이 되어진다.
‘물성’은 그 자체로 작품의 중요한 소재이자 주제가 되며 내재된 정신과 무의식적 행위를 통해서 부각되어지고, 내재된 욕구로 타 물질과 결합을 통해 새로운 작업으로 확장해 나가고 있다.
본 연구자는 콘크리트를 이용해서 여러 도자형태와 결합하여 상징성 및 의미를 부여하고 새로운 물성의 느낌과 새로운 공간을 찾아내기도 하며, 여러 형태를 통해 본인이 가장 좋아하는 성향을 찾아나가면서 다양함 감정을 단순하고 비례적인 형태에 담아 표현하도록 하였다. 더 나아가 도자의 표현 한계를 확대하고자 하였다.
본문 내용은,
제 1장에서는 콘크리트의 특성 및 도자의 연관성에 대해 정리하였으며, 본인이 제작하고자하는 물성적 콘크리트의 개념과 흙과의 연관성에 대해 정리하였다.
제 2장에서는 물성을 이용한 작품과 큰크리트의 물성을 이용한 작품사례를 통해 본인의 작업과의 유사성을 찾고자 하였다.
제 3장에서는 작품의 구상과 작품의 제작에 관해 솔직하고 명확하게 설명하였다.
제 4장에서는 본 연구자의 작품이 담고 있는 각각의 의미를 서술하였다.
