반지성주의와 유신의 반영웅 -1970년대 전기영화 ‘김두한 시리즈’ 연구- = Anti-intellectualism and antihero of Yushin(維新) -Research about mid-1970s ‘Kim Du Han Series’ as Biography film-

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

In the mass media, Kim Doo han(1918-1972) is imprinted with the image of a nationalist gangster. This study explores the origin of this image. It was in the mid-1970s, the period of the Yushin(維新), that Kim Doo-han became a nationalist symbol. Four biographic films were produced using Kim Doo-Han as a model. In these films, Kim Doo-han emerges as a anti-colonial hero contrasted with the treacherous elites in the colonial era. In the liberation period, he became a warrior of anti-communism and Guardian of law and order. Through this, he realized the legitimacy of Korean modern history that implements nationalism and anticommunism. ‘Kim Doo-han series’ showed the anti-intellectualism, blood rhetoric based on the anti-communism. They was also a fascist inspiration of the conservative sentiments of the people who disillusioned with the politics of the elite.
