재무적 요인이 은퇴자의 생활만족도에 미치는 영향 = The Effects of Financial Factors on Retiree’s Life Satisfaction - Interaction Effects Between Physical or Psychological Factors and Financial Factors -

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 은퇴자의 생활만족도를 향상시키기 위한 방안을 마련하기 위하여 재무적 요인이 은퇴자의 생활만족도에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 살펴보고, 나아가 은퇴자의 생활만족도에 재무적 요인이 영향을 미치는 과정에서 신체적 요인 및 심리적 요인이 어떠한 상호작용효과를 갖는지를 살펴보았다.
이를 위해 국민노후보장패널 4차자료(2011)를 이용하였고, 총 1,655가구주를 대상으로 분석하였으며 분석결과를 바탕으로 한 결론은 다음과 같다.
첫째, 은퇴자의 생활만족도에 영향을 미치는 재무적 요인을 다중회귀분석을 통해 살펴본 결과, 경상소득이 높을수록, 부동자산이 많을수록, ‘총부채/금융자산’이 낮을수록 은퇴자의 생활만족도 수준이 높았다. 이러한 재무적 요인의 생활만족도에 대한 상대적 영향력은 경상소득, ‘총부채/금융자산’, 부동산자산의 순으로 나타났다.
둘째, 신체적 요인인 신체적 건강상태와 심리적 요인인 우울감, 가족관계망, 사회관계망이 은퇴자의 생활만족도에 대한 직접적인 영향력을 살펴본 결과, 신체적으로 건강할수록, 우울감이 낮을수록, 가족관계망(배우자와의 관계만족도, 자녀와의 관계만족도)과 사회관계망 만족도(친구와의 관계만족도, 이웃과의 관계만족도) 수준이 높을수록 은퇴자의 생활만족도 수준이 높은 것으로 나타났다.
셋째, 재무적 요인이 은퇴자의 생활만족도에 영향을 미치는 과정에서 신체적 요인과 심리적 요인의 상호작용효과를 살펴본 결과, 신체적 요인에서는 ‘경상소득과 신체적 건강상태’가, 심리적 요인에서는 ‘부동산자산과 자녀와의 관계만족도’, ‘부동산자산과 친구와의 관계만족도’, ‘총부채/금융자산과 친구와의 관계만족도’, ‘총부채/총자산과 친구와의 관계만족도’가 유의한 상호작용효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to find the effects of financial factors on retiree’s life satisfaction focusing on the interaction effects between physical or psychological factors and financial factors. The data were drawn from the 2011 Survey of Korean Retirement and Income Study(the 4th survey) conducted by National Pension Research Institute. From the survey, 1,655 retired households were selected.
The main results were as follows:
First, ‘income" and ‘real estate" showed positive influences on retiree’s life satisfaction, whereas ‘the ratio of total debt to liquid asset’ had a negative impact on retiree’s life satisfaction. Furthermore, ‘income" was found to be the strongest influencing factor among the financial factors.
Second, subjective health condition had a positive effect on retiree"s life satisfaction while depression had a negative effect on retiree’s life satisfaction. Furthermore, ‘relationship satisfaction with spouse and children’, and ‘the relationship satisfaction with friends and neighbours’ showed positive influences on retiree’s life satisfaction.
Third, there were significant interaction effects between ‘income" and ‘subjective health condition" factors, ‘real estate" and ‘relationship satisfaction with children or friends". In addition, there were significant interaction effects between ‘the ratio of total debt to liquid asset’ and ‘relationship satisfaction with friends", and ‘the ratio of total debt to total asset’ and ‘relationship satisfaction with friends".
