한국스포츠외교정책: 분석틀의 모색 = Korean Foreign Policy in Sport: Searching for Conceptional Framework for Analysis

As a globalization is being deepened, international relations are about regularized, cooperative behaviour and institutions and arrangements. An increasingly large amount of academic attention is being given to the study of soft power. As an essential element of soft power, Sport assumed an increasingly important role society and international relations. The government intended to make greater use of sport in promoting state`s image abroad and advancing economic development at home. Many scholars confirmed a large role for government in the international sport movement. Sport had come to play an important place in korean foreign policy. This study explores the relationship between sport and korean foreign policy on the basis of Rosenau`s theory and sets the conceptional framework for analysis in the context of tentativeness.
