The purpose of this study was to investigate determinants of intramural sport activity adherence using the difference of body mass index, attitude to intramural sport activity, self-motivation, locus of control, exercise self-efficacy among the intramural sport activity adherence-group, drop-out group, and not paticipating group. Subjects(N = 180)of this study were male students of N high school in C province who enrolled or not paticipated to intramural sport activity program. All subjects were selected using the joined sampling methods and completed the determinants of intramural sport activity questionnaire. The collected data were analysed using one-way ANOVA.
The conclusions were as followings :
First, body mass index and locus of control don't affect to the adherence of intramural sport activity.
Second, positive attitude to intramural sport activity affects the adoption of intramural sport activty but no effect on the intramural sport activity adherence and drop-out.
Third, self-motivation have no effect on the intramural sport activity adherence
Fourth, exercise self-efficacy affects the intramural sport activity adoption and adherence.
