다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This essay is to study on some panegyrical poems about Yaeun Gil Jae created by other persons from the late 17th century when the loyalty of Yaeun Gil Jae was eulogized by the lead of a sovereign ruler. At first I examined the aspect and meaning of panegyrical poems made by King Sukjong in 1707, the early of 18th century. In the earlier records of Joseon Dynasty in the 15th century, the fidelity of Gil Jae was emphasized in the aspect of Baeki and Sukje, the loyal brothers of Chinese lore, refusing to serve two dynasties. On the other hands, in the panegyrical poems by King Sukjong, the integrity spirit of Gil Jae was emphasized in the aspect of elegant attitude of a recluse, Eomgwang who was a representative recluse in Chinese history and was disinterested in a successful career. And then I studied the aspect and meaning of panegyrical poems made by high-ranking official, Myeonggok Choe Seokjjeong and Donggang Cho Sangwoo who composed a verse in response to Sukjong`s poems following the rhymes of Sukjong in the same generation and the responding poetry which was created by King Sunjo, Yeokcheon Song Myeongheum, Samyhun Jang Bokchu and Hanju Lee Jinsang in the later generations. They pledged themselves to practice the integrity spirit of recluse influenced by the fact that some kings including Sukjong eulogized Yaeun Gil Jae.
