창의적 체험 활동 교육과정 운영 실태 분석|RISS 상세보기

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 창의적 체험 활동을 운영한 선도 학교의 보고서를 분석함으로써, 창의적 체험 활동 프로그램의 형식상-내용상의 주요 경향을 분석하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 학생들이 다양한 프로그램을 통해 교과목에서 배운 내용을 직접 체험하고, 나눔과 봉사의 활동 및 진로 탐색 등을 통해 성적 만능주의에서 벗어나 창의성과 인성을 함양할 수 있는 기회를 제공하기 위해 구상된 창의적 체험 활동은 바람직한 교육적 취지와 목표에도 불구하고 학교 현장에서 이를 실행하는 과정에서 애초에 국가 교육과정 수준에서 의도하지 않았던 여러 가지 문제점들이 나타나고 있다는 점이 보고되고 있다. 따라서 연구자는 창의적 체험 활동 연구학교를 중심으로 창의적 체험 활동 프로그램의 운영 현황을 분석함으로써 창의적 체험 활동의 문제점을 진단하고 개선 방안을 도출하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 연구자는 2010년 창의적 체험 활동 연구학교로 지정된 전국의 학교 중 총 34개 학교(초등학교 13, 중학교 13, 고등학교 8)를 임의로 선정하고 각 학교의 창의적 체험 활동 프로그램 운영 보고서를 창의적 체험 활동의 목표, 통합 유형, 운영 대상, 운영 시간, 자원 유형 등의 측면에서 그 주요 경향을 파악해 보았다. 그리고 운영보고서 내용 분석 결과를 토대로 향후 창의적 체험 활동 및 시민교육에 대해 가지는 시사점을 논의하였다.

The purpose of this study is to analyze creative hands-on activities final reports submitted by the research schools which participated in creative hands-on activities national projects. Despite its educational values and merits, it has been evidenced that creative hands-on activities programs in local schools are facing so-called implementation problems. Critics argue that the concept of creative hands-on activities curriculum has been interpreted in various ways among local schools, which often distorted its educational meanings intended by the educational authorities. Analyzing creative hands-on activities management reports written by total 34 participating schools (13 elementary schools, 13 middle schools, and 8 high schools) sampled from selective major cities and provinces, the researchers illustrated basic patterns of curriculum management regarding creative hands-on activities among local schools, and how local schools defined the meaning of and implemented creative hands-on curriculum. Based on the findings, the researchers suggest policy implications for the future creative hands-on activities curriculum and civic education.
