요한복음 프롤로그의 한글 번역의 제안: 1장 3-4절과 9절을 중심으로 = Suggestion on Korean Translation of the Prologue of the Gospel of John: John 1:3-4, 9

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The Prologue of the Gospel of John has been studied into two ways: study on the theological theme and study on the literary figure including structure, on both studies, one of the important step is to translate the text of the Prologue, The sound translation is the key to study the various themes. In particular, there are three verses which have more debatable variants than others. For example, the variant of punctuation of verse 3, the variants of the number of the relative pronoun and of the verb in verse 13, and the variants with regard to 口 in verse 18 are discussed. Most of all, understanding the variant of punctuation of verse 3 functions on important step to interpret the Prologue both in literary figures and in the theological aspects, Furthermore, in verse 9, understanding the Greek syntax is a important key to translate it, although there is no the textual critical issues. To clarify the usage of the participle in verse 9 is the fundamental work on the sound translation of the text, viz., to translate and interpret the text is the basic step on the various studies on the Prologue. Therefore, the pare points out the problems of the translation on the Prologue in Korean version and suggest on the sound translation on it by understanding the various readings on the textual critical issues and on the Greek syntax.
