디지털 시대의 사전 편찬의 방향 = The direction of the dictionary compilation in the digital age

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this paper is to examine the advantages and disadvantages of Korean language dictionary 'Urimalsaem' which is currently operated on ‘National Institute of Korean Language’ website and to suggest complementary measures for the digital era and culture era.
Since the digital age is an era of information and culture, users of 'Urimalsaem' want not only the meaning of vocabulary, but also culture related to vocabulary. if 'Urimalsaem' should be transformed into a dictionary that meets the needs of users, it should provide various contents by combining digital technology.
In this study, we propose a method of linking Korean history image corpus with text corpus, linking dialect image corpus with text corpus, linking classical literature image corpus with text corpus, linking modern literature image corpus with text corpus, we proposed a method to utilize image corpus from the viewpoint of bibliography of old books. and we present the collection institution of digital materials and suggested ways to utilize the information of the website.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 논문은 현재 국립국어원 홈페이지에서 운영되고 있는 국어사전 ‘우리말샘’의 장점과 단점을 살펴보고, 디지털 시대와 문화의 시대에 맞는 보완책을제시하는 데 목적이 있다.
디지털 시대는 정보와 문화의 시대이기 때문에, ‘우리말샘’의 사용자들은단순히 어휘의 뜻풀이만을 원하는 게 아니고, 어휘와 관련된 문화까지도 보고 싶어 한다. 국어사전 ‘우리말샘’이 사용자들의 욕구에 충족하는 사전으로변모해야 한다면, 디지털 기술을 접목하여 내용을 다양하게 서비스해야 할것이다.
본 연구에서는 국어사 이미지 말뭉치와 텍스트 말뭉치를 연계하는 방안, 방언 이미지 말뭉치와 텍스트 말뭉치를 연계하는 방안, 고전문학 이미지 말뭉치와 텍스트 말뭉치를 연계하는 방안, 현대문학 이미지 말뭉치와 텍스트말뭉치를 연계하는 방안, 서지적 관점에서 이미지 말뭉치를 활용하는 방안을 제안하였다. 그리고 디지털 자료의 소장처를 제시하고, 웹사이트의 정보를 활용하는 방안을 제시하였다.
